The Laurel Grove Dementia unit is a place where seniors can thrive in comfort, surrounded by friendship, community, and the beauty of nature.

As a part of the Hermitage’s Benjamin M. Smith Health Care Center Laurel Grove’s licensed nurses work around the clock. Rehabilitation therapy as well as sessions with a certified music therapist are available. Laurel Grove residents also have immediate access to neighboring hospitals.

The staff of the Laurel Grove Dementia Unit is committed to making it a place that nurtures body, mind, and spirit. A wide variety of recreational activities include escorted walks, trips to neighborhood lakes and parks, and therapeutic classes in our Creative Arts Studio.
